Becoming a mother changed everything for me. The journey taught me how strong I could be, but also how much support we all need along the way. The last five years have transformed me in ways I never expected. Becoming a mother to my incredible son was the most beautiful gift God could have given me. I thank Him for my son every day, but the journey hasn’t been easy.

After three years with my son’s father, our relationship took a serious turn. His battle with addiction and depression left me parenting alone without reliable support. Around the same time, my son was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder. Daycares were too loud, and preschool was overwhelming. I had to step away from the organizing business I built and put my coaching work on hold while focusing on simply surviving.

I was burned out, exhausted, and navigating multiple transitions with little help. I had to find resources, save money, and somehow keep going. One of the lifelines that helped me was Hope For Single Moms, an amazing nonprofit that provided both resources and mentorship. That mentorship changed everything. It helped me rebuild my life and inspired me to help other moms do the same.

Through all of this, I found my strength, rebuilt my confidence, and discovered a deep calling to support other women navigating motherhood, healing, and self-rediscovery. Currently I am working with Hope for Single Moms Non-Profit to create a cleaning workforce development to connect mothers to quality work & resources.
